am a freelance ICON Accredited Conservator  who previously worked for the Royal Collection Trust for over 15 years as a Decorative Surfaces Conservator.

The Decorative Conservation Co was launched in November 2020 providing practical, ethical problem solving for works of art and consultation regarding the longevity and care of objects.

I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Conservation and Restoration from the City and Guilds of London Art School in 2005.

During my degree,  I was fortunate enough to study at the Lisbon Tile Museum as a Zibby Garnett Scholar along with other short placements at the V&A, Tate and commercial workshops in the UK.

My work at the Royal Collection Trust included a three week placement at the Tokyo National Museum (sponsored by the Pilkington Anglo-Japanese Cultural Foundation) to work with urushi lacquer.
